Bringing Glenn Gould into the 21st Century with Hip Hop

Glenn Gould was one of this country’s–one of the world’s–best classical pianists. He also had a thing for sound collages and what we’d call mashups today. Gould was very much an experimenter in sound.

Billy Wild (as Uninvited Guests) has been given permission by the Gould estate to remix some recordings in a way that can rebrand Gould for a new generation. The purists will hate this, but if Gould were still alive, he’d love it. The video selected for the remix is pretty freaky/weird, too.
