Charlatans UK Singer Gets Custom Breakfast Cereal with Just a Tweet

I never really thought about what Charlatans UK singer Tim Burgess eats for breakfast, but it appears he’s a cereal man.  A serious cereal man.

A couple of weeks ago, he sent out a tweet saying that he had invented his own breakfast cereal based on his favourite flavour, Rocky Road, with its chocolate and marshmallowy goodness.  He even had a name: Totes Amazeballs.  Cheekily, he suggested in the tweet that Kellogg’s should be interested in it.

Of course, there was no cereal.  But Kellogg’s responded anyway–within an hour.

Kellogg’s provided a one-of-a-kind cereal featuring a Rocky Road-ish mixture of Coco Pops, marshmallows, pieces of shortbread and raisins.  The box is custom-designed, too.

But don’t start pestering your local grocer for a box of Totes Amazeballs yet because this was a one-time-only thing just for Tim.  Or at least it was supposed to be.

Demand in the UK has been strong enough for Kellogg’s to seriously think about rolling out Totes Amazeballs to the general public.
