Eddie Vedder’s new single will go to people who buy tickets to see his beloved Chicago Cubs

The Chicago Cubs have no greater friend and fan than Eddie Vedder. Not only does he often show up to sing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” every once in a while, but he helps the team sell tickets. See?

For his next trick, Eddie will release a new single next month and will be available only to people who go to the Cubs-Red game on July 6. One ticket equals one 7-inch single featuring the song “All The Way,” the Cubs anthem he wrote in 2007. The B-side will feature a classic Cubs song called “Go Cubs Go.” And because the game is so close to July 4, it will be released on red and blue vinyl.

Third Man Records is in charge of the production.

Here’s what the A-side sounds like.
