Foreskin Pride Demonstration Planned for One Direction Show

You can blame Taylor Swift for this one. Sort of.

Back in 2013, there was a rumour that Ms Swift broke up with One Direction’s Harry Styles over his foreskin. She wanted him to consider getting circumstance. Harry balked at any of his private bits getting snipped. (The source of this story is the National Enquirer. And remember that they got a lot of the OJ story right. Just sayin’.)

This is the reason that at 5pm PDT today (July 17), the Canadian Foreskin Awareness Project will stage a rally in front of BC Place ahead of tonight’s One Direction show. Let me quote from The Georgia Strait:

“The allegation that Taylor tried to tailor Styles’s penile style has not yet been confirmed by Styles or Swift,” CAN-FAP [CAN-FAP? Yes. -AC] founder and foreskin promoter Glen Callender said in a statement. “But CAN-FAP is obliged to take all alleged threats to celebrity foreskin seriously.”

Callender and his CAN-FAP colleagues also plan to hold a rally outside Swift’s concert at B.C. Place on August 1.

“Foreskin is rampant in pop music, with top artists such as Justin Bieber, Will Smith, John Mayer, and Ricky Martin all proud owners of very successful and sought-after foreskins,” Callender said.

Swift seems to be CAN-FAP’s (Crap. I giggled again. Surely they can’t be entirely serious about their mission with a name like that. Can they?) Public Enemy #2, one step down from Bill and Melinda Gates whose foundation supports circumcision efforts in Africa as a way of cutting down AIDS transmission.

So if you’re going to be in the vicinity of BC Place between 5 and 7pm tonight, could you snip (sorry) snap a few pictures for posterity? This will be one strange pre-concert rally that needs to be documented.
