Members of the Red Army Choir Killed in Russian Plane Crash
A Tupolev Tu-154–an aircraft that’s been largely retired around the world–crashed Christmas Day about a mile off the coast of Sochi. On board were members of the famous Russian Red Army Choir, who were off to perform at an airbase in Syria.
Of the 92 people on board, 60 were members of the choir.
