Alan Burns and Associates, a radio research company that offers consulting services, conducted a national study in the US on the habits and needs of female listeners.


  • Format with the most growth?  Hot AC
  • Format on the decline?  Rhythmic Top 40
  • 46% of women enjoy the contributions of on-air personalities but 19% actively dislike them.  Another 35% are ambivalent.
