My Old CFNY Boss Was Honoured in Parliament

Depending on which one of us you ask (and depending on the number of glasses of wine involved) the last person David Marsden hired at CFNY was either me or Maie Pauts. Whatever the case, I consider myself extremely fortunate to have worked for the man.

This week he was honoured in Parliament. Watch.

That sort of thing never happens to a radio guy. Good for the Mars Bar.

Two other notes.  Marsden, Scot Turner and I will be on the air together for the first time in forever this coming Sunday on 102.1 the Edge/ Toronto. We’ll all be part of Spirit of Radio Sundays starting at about 3pm ET.

Second, Marsden is part of a soon-to-be-released documentary on free-form DJs called I Am What I Play, Here’s the trailer.
