A Proper Bio Treatment of Teenage Head. About Time.

Lost in the mists of history and hype is the fact that Teenage Head were working on creating punk rock months before the Clash and the Sex Pistols played their first gigs.  And given the band’s incredible longevity, the plethora of outrageous tales and the the fact that they came heartbreakingly oh-so-close to making it, it’s a crime that their story hasn’t been told properly.

That, thankfully, is about to be fixed.  Globe and Mail contributor Geoff Pevere is about to release  Gods of the Hammer (Geddit? LOVE the title!), the first long-form comprehensive bio of Teenage Head.

The official release event will happen May 8 during Canadian Music Week in Toronto at The Great Hall.  I’m working on getting myself a review copy.
