Show 13 of 15: Scenes from the Tragically Hip’s Show in Hamilton

The Hip played Hamilton last night. Marcus (@Marcust99) sends this review:

Incredible show last night. Crowd BLEW away the Toronto show I saw last week (Wed). I’m passing on the vids I took in case you want to post any, but if you decide to, you HAVE to post the Grace, Too. The highlight of the night for me. You’ll see them jamming out the ending and can see Gordie clearly in tears. I was just tearing up again watching it. Incredibly powerful.

Done.

About this next video: This is from Jeff from Lewiston, New York.

The show was one for the ages. Gord was in what I refer to as many colours of the Tin Man. Silver, Purple (and there was another but I am not sure.) A couple of highlights:

1. Gord fondly remembers playing in Hamilton at a bar for an audience of 0! Yes zero.
2. Not sure if this had any bearing but my wife emailed the band requesting “Fiddlers Green.” (When I proposed to her, after she said; “Yes”, the next questions was: “When?” Then Fiddlers Green started in my car. September 17 it was. And in the final encore they played. I have goose bumps thinking of it…

  • It was an amazing show. Looks like we sat in the same general area as Marcus. Nice to see the videos shot from the perspective of how we watched the show.
