Watch as the Plug Gets Pulled on the Foo Fighters

Outdoor shows in cool locations can be fantastic, but they can also be subject to some pretty strict curfew rules. Few events are more strict than the organizers of the BottleRock Festival in Napa Valley. The rule is “I don’t care who you are. Get off stage by 10 pm or we’re pulling the plug. No exceptions, no mercy.” The Cure learned this the hard way back in 2014 when their set was cut short.

The Cure learned this back in 2014 when their set was cut short. And this past weekend, the Foo Fighters got the hook.

The Foos headlined the third and final night of BottleRock and apparently mis-timed things by a few minutes. They were halfway through their final song when–well, just watch.

At least they finished the song, right?

The Foos are now heading to the UK where they’ll headline Glastonbury, a place where there are no curfews.
