This Week’s Top 11 Playlist: 19 May 2017

For Canadians, there is something sacred about the May long weekend. No matter how iffy the weather might be, we still look at it as the unofficial beginning of summer. I, for one, plan to spend many hours doing as little as possible. If you’re thinking the same sort of thing, you might want to enjoy these new tunes that I’ve hand-selected. Thanks to Mediazoic for the hosting.

I am new to your site but have listened to your show off and on for years. A few weeks ago I started to listen to your Podcast because I am in sales and I am sick of the same old music on the radio stations. I enjoy the back stories and the facts you provide even if I am not a fan of the musician. Two part question sort of.. Depeche Mode they have been around since 1980 and have proven they should be in the Rock an Roll Hall of fame… I n my opinion. Could you give me son insight as to why they were not voted in earlier this year and are you putting them on a Podcast????

    Thank you in advance

    • 1. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is controlled by an old boys club who have a bias against British electronic acts. That DM isn’t in the Hall already is a shame.
      2. Great idea. It’s time for a big update on DM. I’ll pencil it in for the fall season.
