Year-end music stats from Twitter

Twitter is the latest online platform to provide us with a roundup of data from 2018. Here are some highlights:

  • The most-mentioned Twitter account by Canadians in 2018 is owned by BTS, the K-pop band (@BTS_twt). They actually had more mentions in Canada than Donald Trump or Justin Trudeau.
  • Drake (@Drake) is the most-mentioned Canadian musician, pushing Justin Bieber (@JustinBieber) out of the top spot. Shawn Mendes (@ShawnMendes) was in second place.
