Year-End Sales Numbers for the Canadian Music Industry: How Did Things Go in 2016?

Not well, if we’re talking about CDs and digital albums. In fact, there are a lot of minus signs in this final report. The only exceptions are vinyl (+28.5%), cassettes (+80%) and on-demand audio streams (+191.6%).

Here are all the numbers from Nielsen.
