Bono awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom

Bono was at the White House yesterday to accept the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honour in the US. It’s only given to “good people who have made extraordinary contributions to their country and the world.” He’s already received the highest civilian honour in France and an honourary knighthood from the UK.

In addition to Bono, Michael J, Fox, Denzel Washington, Hillary Clinton, George Soros (which freaked out the MAGA people), Lionel Messi, Magic Johnson, Ralph Lauren, and Anna Wintour also got medals.
