Here are Shazam’s predictions for which newcomers will become stars in 2025

Shazam, the music-identifying app owned by Apple, is spending the week revealing something they call FastForward 2025, lists of artists who data suggests will become big over the next over the next 12 months.

For some annoying reason, they’ve lumped rock and country into one category while dance, Latin, Pop, and hip-hop and R&B get their own top ten lists. Maybe that says something about how rock and country fans use Shazam.

Whatever the case, here’s that top ten list.

  • Andrien Nunez (Country, US)
  • Cameron Whitcomb (Country, Canada)
  • Moody Joody (Alternative, US)
  • Gurriers (Indie Rock, Ireland)
  • Inoha (Alternative, US)
  • Lucky Love (Alternative, France)
  • Fumon (Rock, Taiwan)
  • Noeline Hoffman (Country, Canada)
  • Junior Variey (Alternative, US)
  • Zach Top (Country, US)
