Luminate offers up these Canadian sales figures as of December 26. That means except for five days (during a Boxing Week period, too), these are pretty much the final numbers for 2024.
- Total CD sales in all of Canada this year: 1,801,433 (a drop of -12.2% from this point last year)
- Total vinyl sales in all of Canada this year: 1.781,021 (up 26.6% from a year ago)
- CD sales last week: 69,263 (down 0.5% from a week earlier)
- Vinyl sales last week: 96,460 (down 9.5% from last week)
Streaming numbers:
- Songs streamed in Canada last week: 2,842,267,022 (down -2.4% from last week)
- Songs streamed in Canada this year: 142,585,556,376 (up 9.5% from this point in 2024)
