The Diddy Trial, Day Three

The prosecution continued to lay out their case with more questioning of Diddy’s ex, Cassie Ventura. The jury was shown the unedited version of Diddy’s attack on Cassie in the hallway of a Los Angeles hotel in 2016 when she tried to escape one of his “freak off” events. WARNING: This is pretty disturbing.

Cassie also testified how Diddy forced women into sex parties that lasted for days. Videos taken at the party were used as blackmail, including against Cassie. On one occasion after an argument, Diddy threatened to release videos featuring her to the public when he discovered she was dating Kid Cudi.

When he first found out about her relationship with Cudi, he lunged at Cassie with a wine bottle opener.

There was a civil suit and Diddy had to pay her US$20 million. In that case, Diddy was accused of threatening to blow off Cudi’s ear.

She also spoke of the time Diddy attacked her in her sleep back in 2017. She needed plastic surgery to repair a gash on her eyebrow. Combs then allegedly sent her a photo of the wound with the caption “So you can remember.”

Cassie also spoke of the medical problems suffered from the freak off parties: sores in the mouth, painful UTIs, and stomach problems.

Diddy also dragged her to clubs, dosing her with Ecstasy and GHB to keep her compliant.

Cassie was so traumatized by everything she went through that she became addicted to opioids and contemplated suicide in 2023. “I was spinning out…I didn’t want to be alive anymore at that point.”

In other developments, a series of deleted Diddy photos of a party in Ibiza was also shown. This party, back in 2014, was attended by Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Kendall Jenner, Paris Hilton, and other celebrities.

The case continues.
