There’s a new(ish) Pink Floyd movie coming. Here’s a trailer.

In 1972, Pink Floyd staged a pretty spectacular series of gigs amongst the ruins of Pompeii. The resulting concert film, Pink Floyd at Pompeii – MCMLXXII, is considered to be a classic of the genre.

As mind-blowing as it was at the time, all they had to work with was the technology of the day, which is to say 35mm film. It’s now been upscaled/upgraded to 2025 standards for visual and audio. A theatrical release is planned for next month followed by a CD, DVD, and Blu-ray reissue.

Here’s a trailer.
