This interactive map shows which countries produce what kind of music

A company called TickX commissioned a survey of 35,000 musicians from around the planet and compared their country of origins to the genre of music that comes from that country. The result was a “top genre” from each nation.

Over 450 different kinds of music were surveyed and produced results for over 100 countries. And guess what? Rock comes out looking pretty, pretty, pretty good. All the interactive maps can be found here.
