Vince Neil’s jet involved in deadly crash in Arizona

What’s with all the aviation accidents so far this year? The latest involves two private jets–a Learjet 35A and a Gulfstream 200–were involved in a collision at Scottsdale Airport yesterday afternoon (February 10).

The Learjet, with four people onboard, had just flew in from Austin when it left the runway around 2:39 pm local time and ran into the parked Gulfstream when it couldn’t come to a proper stop. It looks like the the left main landing gear failed upon touching down.

The Learjet is registered to Chromed in Hollywood, which Motley Crue’s Vince Neil owns. He wasn’t on the plane, but his girlfriend, Andreani, and one of her friends, Ashley, were passengers. Adreani was taken to the hospital with five broken ribs. Everyone else who survived remains in hospital. The dogs with the women are okay.

There were two pilots in charge of the flight. One of them died in the collision. No one was aboard the Gulfstream at the time.
