“We Didn’t Start the Fire” – The 2025 Canadian version

The US, once our most trusted ally and a great neighbour, can no longer be trusted. The Trump administration has been free and easy with its hostility towards us with talk of annexation, taking our minerals and water, insulting our leaders, and unnecessarily and wanton levying tariffs in what has been called the “dumbest trade war ever.”

We did not start this fight. Our neighbour is throwing their dogsh*t over the fence and expects us to apologize for it. We didn’t start this fire.
