  • WOW I can’t believe you would publish this list with PWR BTTM on it the day after everything came out about Ben sexually assaulting multiple victims. Totally callous.

    • Hang on. They’re allegations at this point. Serious ones, to be sure. But shouldn’t we wait until someone has been proven guilty?

      • They were serious enough for their management to drop them, two of their touring band members to quit, the band to cancel their EP release and many of their support acts for the upcoming tour to drop our (one of them going so far as to say it really comes as now surprise and apologizing to their fans for putting their career before ). the safety of their fans.

And if you read their official response the band put out to the allegations they didn’t even really deny it. The only said the allegations don’t reflect who Ben is as a person and the line “There are people who have violated others’ consent and do not know. ” Their words not mine, as if setting it up to say “oh but they didn’t know it was wrong” like that’s an excuse for sexual assault.

Then on top of that they encourage any “survivors of abuse” (again their words) to contact a band run email.

Come on Alan. you’ve been in this industry long enough to know that if these allegations were baseless no PR rep worth their salt would let a statement like that be released and more so their would be a very strongly worded denial issued almost immediately.

        • Yes, there’s a lot of smoke, but we’ll see how it all plays out.

          • Dropped by their label and tour cancelled… it’s looking like more than smoke.
